So far my current idea is very simple: Phase 1: Car battery -> Efficient inverter -> CPAP In order to measure the charge-life of this setup, I need to monitor exactly how much power my CPAP uses, so I'm going to start with one of these: Once I quantify the watts per unit time that the unit draws, I can calculate the expected run time in hours for the setup in question. I need to develop a simple system to run my CPAP in the event of grid power loss, or for camping, etc. I have a unique problem to try and solve, and I figured I would use this thread as a place to document this. ![]() This means you don't have to turn your machine off when you take a bathroom break. Most Auto Adjusting machines have auto on / off capabilities. ![]()
